Ira Riklis, a philanthropist is of the view that when we help the others around us and especially the needy we feel the presence of God and become closer to him. He is a man who leaves no stone unturned to help the society and those who need the help most. He goes out of his way to help them and to serve humanity is his only aim in life. In the present times where all that one thinks is about themselves, he is a man who lives for everyone but himself. One can go on and on about his charities and how he helps the children and the elders to live in a better way. He not only helps the people but also takes out time and spreads awareness that charity is a wonderful thing. Apart from the time you do not spend anything and stand to lose nothing, but when you help the needy it can make a huge difference to their lives and they also can live a happier life. He also supports higher education of children to help them becoming independent and more qualified. He and his family render their support to innumerable organisations which help the people of all age. He feels he is lucky to have the opportunity to help society and make the world a better place to live for the needy and the helpless. He fails to understand that why the people around him do not make the efforts to help society when they do not lose anything at the end of it. A small effort from their side can make a huge difference. If all of us make small efforts and help the people around us and help them to live better, I can trust we all live better, feel better and happier.
