Boston Historical Attractions Jul 13

The city of Boston played a major role in the revolutionary war. The most important historical spots from this war have been linked by The Freedom Trail which is a 2.5 mile long red line. This trail starts at the greater Boston convention and visitor center where visitors can choose to tour the trail by themselves or be led by guides whoop are dressed in Historical costumes. These attractions include the state house, the Boston common, the black heritage trail, the park street church, Benjamin Franklin’s statue which is located on the first public school in the US, further down is the spot where the Boston massacre of 1770 took place.
